Vangel (to Zorensen):
"What are you even doing, Zorensen?

Panel 2

Zorensen (holding glowing book, standing in magic circle):
"I told you already. I'm building the future.
For my kids. For any kids that need it!"

Vangel (arms out, questioning):
"How does wrecking your building do that?"

Panel 3
Zorensen (animated, passionate):
"You don't get it! Kai and I stumbled onto something huge!

The amulets allowed me to tap into a massive source of energy beneath the city!"

Zorensen (cont’d):
"At first I thought it was a ley line, but no!
It's so much more!"

Zorensen (euphoric):
"It's given me the power to do what I've always wanted!
Protect my kids! Give them a future! Teach them how to use magic!

With this energy source and the amulets, I can do it at scale!"

Zorensen (raising hand, intense):
"But I need more power!

What you see here is just a small leak in the dam.

Once we unleash the whole reservoir, I can help every lost child in the city!

Maybe even the world!"

Vangel (accusing):
"You're controlling their minds!"

Zorensen (turning away, calm):
"You still don't understand."
